Savings Bank of Danbury is proud to announce that James Koulouris has been promoted to Vice President/Residential Lending Mortgage Operations.
James joined Savings Bank of Danbury in 2014 as Assistant Vice President/Residential Lending Mortgage Operations. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, James has over 17 years of underwriting experience. His previous experience includes over 10 years as Assistant Vice President/Underwriting Manager for Webster Bank, and most recently Embrace Home Loans.
James is responsible for management of all aspects of the mortgage production process including overseeing underwriting, processing and closing activities, “James has been instrumental in supporting the growth of Savings Bank of Danbury’s mortgage banking activities through his management role within the Mortgage Operations area. He was a key player during the selection process and implementation of our mortgage origination platform, and his extensive experience provides exceptional oversight to the entire mortgage process.”, said Martin Morgado, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. James is active in his community, coaching basketball for Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the Middlebury Youth League, as well as Middlebury Youth Baseball. He has served as a Parish Council member and volunteers for the Annual Church Festival.
