Savings Bank of Danbury named Connecticut’s seventh largest SBA lender by Small Business Administration

DANBURY, CT, ISSUED APRIL 9, 2021…Savings Bank of Danbury (http://sbdanbury.com) has been listed as the 7th largest SBA lender in the state for the SBA Fiscal Year 2020.  This recognition follows several other lists which recognize Savings Bank of Danbury for its lending and its service in the region. The Hartford Business Journal included Savings Bank of Danbury in its year-end (2020) lists as among the largest in-state banks, and also as one of the region’s largest PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) lenders.

In 2020 during the COVID-19 business shutdown and disruption, Savings Bank of Danbury has assisted  well over 1,000 companies and helped preserve over 12,000 jobs through their participation in the SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). They continue to support small businesses as they navigate the emerging regulations and the forgiveness process.
